The
Long Beach City Employees Federal Credit Union is a federally
chartered, non-profit, financial co-operative, which operates
for the exclusive benefit of the membership. Financial services
are focused on providing members with a safe and convenient
place to save and borrow money.
"Not
for Profit, Not for Charity, but for Service," it's
a philosophy that makes a credit union different from all
other financial institutions. Credit unions exist to provide
service to the membership. Any profits are used to cover
government mandated reserves, statutory net worth (capital)
requirements and credit union operating expenses. The balance
is returned to the members in the form of competitive dividend
rates on savings and interest rates on loans.
